Woman Attacked by Intruder After Late Shift at Salisbury Hospital
Shock Assault in Shared Home Near Maternity Ward
A young woman in her 20s was punched in the face after finishing a late shift at Salisbury District Hospital just past midnight on Friday, 27 November. As she entered the dark front room of her shared accommodation on site, she was confronted by a stranger. Despite the attack, she managed to escape and raise the alarm.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
The attacker is described as a slim male, about 5ft 10in, wearing a sweatshirt-style jumper and matching bottoms. Detective Constable Hannah Milburn from CID South said:
“The victim was not only physically assaulted but left deeply shaken. A person’s home should be their sanctuary. This offender has brutally violated that.”
Call for Witnesses and Security Warning
Police are urgently appealing for anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour around the hospital grounds that evening or may have dashcam footage to come forward. DC Milburn added:
“There may be vital information on camera that could help our investigation. We also urge everyone to secure their homes properly—even when at home—to deter opportunist offenders.”
