Family Mourns “Smiley and Generous” Teen Louise After Tragic Loss

Family’s Heartbreaking Tribute

The family of Louise Cooper have paid an emotional tribute to the “smiley and generous” teen taken too soon. Louise’s mother, Rebecca Cooper, expressed their grief in a heartfelt statement:

“We would like to thank everyone who helped bring justice for our beautiful daughter Louise. No words can describe the loss we feel every single day. She was our sunshine and is deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

The pain inside is unbelievable, knowing we’ll never see her again. The last few months—and especially the past four weeks—have been absolutely traumatising.

I’m also grateful to Mr Newton-Price and his team for their hard work on this case, and to the police for all their support. Please respect our wishes so we can finally grieve our daughter in peace.”

Father’s Heartfelt Goodbye

Louise’s father, Bradley Smith, shared his sorrow and gratitude to the community of Leigh Park:

“Louise was deeply loved throughout her young life. As a family, we tried to give her special moments like holidays, but it’s impossible to accept we’ll never hear her voice or see that cheeky smile again.

Our chance to watch her grow up has been stolen from us. I moved away to build a better life for us both, but now I’ll never get to share that with her. Losing Louise has shattered our lives.

I want to thank the community of Leigh Park for supporting my family and the investigation into her killing.”

A Community in Mourning

Louise’s tragic death has rocked the local community, with friends, neighbours, and police uniting in the search for justice. The family’s plea for privacy serves as a reminder of the human cost behind the headlines.
