Teen Stabbed in Portsmouth Knife Attack
Police rushed to Arundel Street, Portsmouth, just after 5.30pm on Friday 30th April following reports of a knife attack. A 19-year-old man from Fratton was found with a stab wound at the junction with Buckingham Street.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, officials confirmed.
Arrests Made in Attempted Murder Probe
Hampshire Constabulary arrested an 18-year-old man from Southsea on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
Two other men – aged 20 and 18, both from Portsmouth – were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have since been released but stay under investigation.
Police Hunt Mystery Man on Scooter
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the case. Details say he’s a slim, white man about 6ft tall, wearing a black puffa jacket, dark blue hood, dark joggers, black trainers, and white socks.
He was seen with a black scooter bearing green writing on the stem. Police admit the image doesn’t show his face but hope someone will recognise his clothing.
