Woman Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run at Cavendish Way Crossing
A pedestrian was left with serious injuries after being hit by a black Toyota Prius at a pelican crossing on Cavendish Way just before 1pm.
Police rushed to the scene but the offending vehicle had already vanished. The injured woman was rushed to hospital.
Police Hunt Driver Who Fled Scene
PC Chris Giles appealed for witnesses to come forward. He said: “I am particularly keen to trace the driver of the vehicle involved. Please do come forward so we can establish what happened.”
