A Pair Of Suspected Burglars Have Appeared In Court, Accused Of Numerous Break-ins In West And North Kent

 

Following an investigation by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, Benjamin Legg and Jack Piccolo were arrested on suspicion of targeting properties in Kent and Essex on May 26, 2022.

 

 

 

Piccolo, of Station Parade, Barking, Greater London, and Legg, of Academy Drive Road, Basildon, Essex, were later charged with seven and ten burglaries, respectively. Both were also charged with one count of bank card theft.

 

 

 

Between the 15th and 24th of May, homes in Rochester, Dartford, Aylesford, Maidstone, Basildon, Billericay, South Ockenden, and Rochford were allegedly targeted.

 

 

 

Vehicles from driveways, power tools, and wallets were among the items reported stolen.

Mr Legg, 27, and Mr Piccolo, 25, appeared in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 28. They were remanded in custody until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a later date.
