Walderslade Abduction Horror: Police Hunt Trio After Man Dragged Into Van

Detectives in Walderslade are scrambling for witnesses after a man was reportedly assaulted and kidnapped in broad evening daylight.

Brutal Attack on Robin Hood Lane

The shocking incident happened around 8:20pm on Tuesday, 20 February 2024. Police say three suspects attacked a man before forcing him into a nearby white van.

Detectives released descriptions of the attackers:

  • First suspect: Light-coloured trousers, dark shoes, and a jacket with fluorescent stripes down the arms.
  • Second suspect: Dark trousers, white trainers with a fluorescent stripe, and a dark jacket.
  • Third suspect: Light trousers and a dark jacket sporting a small fluorescent logo on the back.

White Vauxhall Combo Van Identified

The van’s driver wore a long-sleeve top or jumper, possibly jeans, and trainers, sporting short brown hair. The passenger had a dark top with white trainers and was seen holding something flashing in his hand.

The vehicle is described as a white Vauxhall Combo van with sliding doors, black roof bars, and silver alloys.

Police Plea: Help Find the Kidnappers

“I’m keen to talk to anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area at this time, or who might have seen the group later with a man who appeared injured,” said Detective Inspector Pete Smith from North Kent CID. “We don’t believe the wider public are at risk.”

The victim is a white male, aged 18 to 25, with short hair, wearing jeans and a t-shirt during the assault.
