Emergency services raced to Trefonen Road, Oswestry, this morning after a pedestrian was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries.

Victim Airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital

Due to the severity of her injuries, the pedestrian was airlifted to Royal Stoke University Hospital for specialist treatment. The car driver, a man, was treated by paramedics but later released.
