Tommy Robinson Flees Cyprus Amid Arrest Warrant Drama

British far-right activist Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has reportedly fled Cyprus, according to police in the popular holiday hotspot of Ayia Napa.

An Ayia Napa officer confirmed, “They informed us that this guy has left the country today.” It’s still unclear if Robinson left Cyprus voluntarily or was sent back to the UK to face justice. The English Defence League founder faces an arrest warrant after missing a court hearing on July 29 for contempt of court.

Airport Exit Suspected as Cypriot Police Ready to Help UK

A Cypriot officer speculated Robinson likely flew out: “My supervisor told us that he left. So to know that means he left from the airport.”

On Wednesday, a police spokesman said Cyprus is cooperating fully with British authorities. “We are in contact with the British police, and if they need our assistance, we are ready to help,” the spokesperson added amid growing concerns over rising violence in the UK.

Responding to these claims, Robinson posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Lucky I’m not in Cyprus then, ain’t it.”
