Detectives are seeking witnesses following a reported series of assaults in Margate.
The incident occurred shortly before 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, 9 November 2024, in Mansion Street, which connects Fort Road to The Parade. A group of people reportedly became involved in a disturbance, during which a man sprayed others with a substance thought to be a strong alkali. Four individuals suffered irritation and reddening to their faces and chests as a result.
Officers attended the scene and recovered a bottle believed to contain the substance used in the attack.
As part of their ongoing investigation, police have released CCTV images of a man who may have information that could assist with their inquiries.
