Shock Crash on Lloyd Street: Man and Child Hit by Car

Emergency crews were scrambled to Lloyd Street, West Bromwich after a car smashed into two pedestrians on Saturday afternoon.

The alarm was raised just after 3pm when a man and a child were struck. West Midlands Police rushed to assist paramedics and quickly launched an investigation.

Victims Treated on Scene; Injuries Not Life-Threatening

“We were called to Lloyd Street, West Bromwich shortly after 3pm yesterday after two pedestrians were hit by a car. Officers attended to support ambulance colleagues and carry out enquiries at the scene. A man and a child were treated at the scene for their injuries, which were not thought to be life-threatening.”

Both victims received prompt medical attention at the scene. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be severe, but the incident has shaken local residents who witnessed the emergency response firsthand.
