Man Hurt in Serious South Harrow Motorbike Crash
A man was rushed to hospital following a nasty motorbike crash in South Harrow this morning.
Crash Shuts Down Eastcote Lane
The smash happened just after 7:20am on Eastcote Lane, near Alexandra Avenue. Emergency teams from the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police were quickly on the scene.
London Ambulance Service Speaks Out
“We were called at 7.22am this morning (Thursday 1 May) to reports of a road traffic collision in Eastcote Lane, South Harrow.
We sent an ambulance crew and paramedics in a fast response car. Our crews arrived within five minutes.
They treated a man at the scene before rushing him to hospital,” a London Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
The rider’s condition has not yet been confirmed.
Travel Chaos Hits South Harrow
Eastcote Lane was shut in both directions from about 8:10am, sparking major delays across South Harrow.
Bus routes 114, 398, H9, and H10 were diverted while emergency crews dealt with the crash.
