Middlesbrough Shooting: Attempted Murder Charges After Gunfire Rocks Middlebeck Close

A terrifying shooting incident in Middlesbrough has resulted in multiple arrests and attempted murder charges, after shots were fired at a residential property in Middlebeck Close, Thorntree, on the night of May 7, 2025.

Gunfire Erupts in Residential Street

Cleveland Police responded to reports of a firearm discharge at a property at around 11:10 p.m. Although no injuries were reported, the incident sparked a major investigation and led to a cordon being placed around the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Snaith of Cleveland Police reassured the public, saying:

“We don’t believe there’s a wider threat, but we’re committed to finding those responsible. High-visibility patrols will continue in the area.”

Suspects Charged With Attempted Murder

Two men, both aged 34, have been charged with:
