Police are probing after a four-month-old baby was found seriously injured in Blackpool – but tragically died days later.

Baby Found Critically Hurt at Blackpool Home

The little girl was discovered at a house on Onslow Road last Thursday (December 3rd). She was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital before being transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Tragic Death Ends Life of Four-Month-Old

Despite emergency care, the baby sadly passed away on Sunday, December 6th.

Man Charged with Attempted Murder

Jordan Lee, 28, from Onslow Road, has been charged. He appeared at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody.

Investigation Ongoing – Police Seek Help

A Home Office post-mortem will determine the exact cause of death. Authorities will consult with the Crown Prosecution Service on any further charges.

Detective Inspector Mark Dickinson said: “My thoughts remain very much with this baby’s wider family, who are being supported by specialist officers. While a man has been charged, our investigation is very much ongoing. I would appeal for anyone with information to contact us.”
