Folkestone Harbour Brawl: Police Hunt Witnesses After Spanner Attack
A fierce fight broke out at Folkestone harbour, and police want witnesses to step forward. The drama unfolded on Monday, July 18, 2022, at around 5.45pm in The Stade area.
Metal Object Smashes Tensions
Two men clashed with a group at The Stade. Reports say one man was struck with a metal object – believed to be a spanner. The violence didn’t stop there. Two of the men jumped into a white Mercedes before it was damaged by others present.
No Serious Injuries But Police Act Fast
Everyone involved quickly left the scene. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. Officers swooped in and arrested two men, aged 19 and 21, from the north of the town. They face suspicion of affray but have since been released under investigation. The case is still open.
