Ian Huntley Dies After Prison Attack
Ian Huntley, the notorious Soham murderer, has died after life support was switched off following a vicious prison assault. The 52-year-old never woke from a coma caused by a brutal attack at HMP Frankland in County Durham on February 26. Sources say he was allegedly bludgeoned with a three-foot metal bar by fellow inmate triple killer Anthony Russell, 43. Prisoners reportedly cheered and chanted upon hearing news of his death inside the prison known as “Monster Mansion.”
Daughter Samantha Bryan Speaks Out
Samantha Bryan, Huntley’s biological daughter, didn’t hold back her feelings. “I felt relieved. I didn’t cry. I smiled. I was over the moon to be honest,” she told The Sun on Sunday. “I’m just glad he’s gone.”
She also slammed the idea of any funeral or grave for her father, insisting his remains be treated with contempt. “He shouldn’t have the dignity of a funeral or a grave. I will not be going,” Samantha said. “There’s nothing about him to celebrate. He’ll burn in hell. There is no place for him in heaven. The devil is waiting.”
