Two crooks who mugged a man, stole his bank cards, then left him battered and bruised have been locked up. Tom McConnell, 31, and Christopher Bygraves, 37, admitted theft, assault, and fraud at Canterbury Crown Court.

Violent Attack on Folkestone Road

Kent Police rushed to Folkestone Road at 11.49pm on 23 August 2025. The victim, a man in his 30s, was found by passersby with nasty cuts and bruises to his head near a footpath to Military Road. The gang had punched him after snatching his phone and wallet, then threatened him before running off on foot.
