Three people have been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a terraced house in Northolt.

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to Vincents Path shortly after 4.18am today.

London Fire Brigade said the whole of the second floor and part of the roof of one terraced property were alight, with part of a neighbouring house also affected.

Three people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.

Firefighters used a 32-metre turntable ladder as an observation tower, alongside drones and thermal imaging cameras, to help the incident commander assess the developing situation and direct firefighting operations.

Crews from Northolt, Wembley, Harrow, Southall and surrounding stations attended the scene.

The fire was brought under control by 6.23am.

London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
