Serious Crash on Coppice Lane, Tamworth
West Midlands Ambulance Service raced to a collision on Coppice Lane, Middleton, Tamworth at 10.26pm last night. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, plus a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic responded to the emergency.
Passenger Left Fighting for Life
A spokesman said: “We found a woman and a man inside the car on arrival. The man, a passenger, had life-threatening injuries.”
He received advanced trauma care on scene before being rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment.
Driver Suffers Minor Injuries
The driver, a woman, was assessed and had injuries not believed to be serious. She was taken to Good Hope Hospital for further checks.
