Road Closures and Bus Diversions Bring Travel Mayhem

Preston Road was shut in both directions from 9:19pm Saturday through to 5am Sunday as cops combed the area for evidence. This forced at least three key bus routes—the 79, 204, and 223—to be diverted, causing disruption for evening and early morning commuters.

Police Confirm No Injuries as Probe Continues

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended following reports of a firearm discharge on Preston Road in Wembley. There were no injuries reported.” They added that inquiries are ongoing, with detectives still piecing together exactly what happened.
