£5,000 Cash and Deadly Gear Seized in South London Drug Raid

Massive Police Raids Rock South London

Officers from the Met’s South Basic Command Unit smashed a major operation today, seizing an imitation firearm, two Tasers, bags of Class A and B drugs, and around £5,000 in cash. The blitz hit nine properties across Croydon, Lambeth, Bromley, and Chelmsford.

Eight Arrested in Crime Crackdown

Six men and two women, aged 21 to 61, were arrested on suspicion of drug supply. They’re now locked up in a south London police station as the investigation heats up.

Third Phase of Gang-Busting Operation

This morning’s raids marked the latest strike in an intelligence-led campaign targeting gangs, drug dealing, and linked violence across south London. Officers were backed by the Territorial Support Group (TSG) during the swoops.

Searches are still ongoing as the Met looks to clean up the streets.
