Ram-Raid Horror in Waterlooville: Stolen Land Rover Smashes Co-op

Hampshire cops are hunting witnesses after a stolen car was used to smash into a Waterlooville shop in a botched ram-raid. The drama unfolded in the early hours of August 15 at the Co-op on Milton Road.

Crime Scene Chaos

A black Land Rover, nicked from outside the nearby Costcutter just hours earlier, was driven straight through the Co-op front. The crash caused major damage, but the thieves failed to make off with the cash machine. The raid happened between 12.20am and 12.30am.

Cops Seek Local Eyes and Ears

Inspector Luke Aslam urged anyone in the Sunnymede Avenue, Milton Road, Eagle Avenue, and Lovedean Lane areas to come forward.

“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously? Did any vehicles look out of place in the early hours? Residents with private CCTV, or drivers with dash cams – you might hold the key to cracking this case,” he said.
