Tragic Death After Fatal Crash in Southampton
A man has died following a deadly collision involving a white Toyota Yaris on Thornhill Park Road, Southampton, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are hunting for anyone who saw the crash or the Toyota Yaris beforehand. They’re particularly keen to speak with drivers who might have dashcam footage of the incident, which happened just after midnight on Friday.
The road was shut for several hours while investigators pieced together what happened. The victim, a 52-year-old Southampton man, was struck outside the Bitterne Public 1 and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
