Jayme McCluskey Dies After Horrific Crash
A devastating collision on Middlesbrough Road, Guisborough, has taken the life of Jayme McCluskey, 35. Jayme had been fighting for his life since the crash on June 30, 2023, but sadly died on Friday at James Cook University Hospital.
Second Victim Killed at the Scene
The crash also claimed the life of 37-year-old Kellam Hodgson, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The community is left reeling after losing two local men in the same tragedy.

Jayme’s family released a heartfelt statement remembering him as a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. “He touched the lives of many,” they said, requesting privacy as they mourn their loss.
The family also thanked the medical staff at James Cook University Hospital for their care and dedication during Jayme’s critical illness.
