Shotgun Blast Shakes Eastwood Home in the Dead of Night

Just before 1am on Tuesday, a loud bang shattered the silence at a Willow Beck property in Eastwood. A woman and her teenage daughter, fast asleep upstairs, were jolted awake by the terrifying noise.

Window Blown Out, No Injuries

Police found damage to an upstairs window, consistent with a shotgun discharge. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the attack, but both victims were left shaken and distressed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

T/Inspector Nina Jackson of Rotherham CID said: “The victim and her teenage daughter were at home and asleep when this happened and both have obviously been left very distressed.”

She added, “Our officers have been at the scene today carrying out enquiries and a cordon has been in place.

“As our investigation continues, we’re asking for the public’s help. Do you have any information about this incident, or did you witness anything suspicious?”
