Shocking Assault on Pensioner in Durrington – Police Hunt Trio
Man in His 70s Punched to the Ground
At around 9.20pm on Saturday (01/04), a man in his 70s was attacked from behind on Larkhill Road, Durrington. Eyewitnesses say three young men, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, carried out the assault.
The victim was punched to the floor and rushed to hospital with a suspected concussion. Thankfully, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Suspects Spotted Wearing Black and Grey Jackets
The trio were last seen wearing a black jacket, a grey jacket, and one was riding an electric scooter. Police have no further details on the suspects’ identities.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch immediately.
