Suspects Caught With Stolen Farm Bikes on A303
Officers stopped a van at 9.30pm on Friday (17/11) at the Buck BP Garage on the A303 near Andover. Inside, they found a quad bike, a motocross bike, and various tools – all reported stolen from a farm near Tiverton, Devon.
Three Men Arrested in Cross-County Theft Probe
The van contained three men from Hertfordshire, aged 19 and 21. They were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. Police have since bailed all three pending further investigations.
Multi-Force Crime Teams Crack Down on Rural Theft
The operation was a combined effort involving specialist teams from Wiltshire Police alongside Hampshire and Thames Valley Rural Crime Units. Devon and Cornwall Police are leading the ongoing investigation into the stolen items.
