Two Men Arrested Over Boxing Day Nightclub Murder of Cody Fisher

Police have swooped, arresting two men suspected of murdering footballer Cody Fisher. The 20-year-old victim was stabbed to death at Birmingham’s Crane nightclub on Boxing Day.

Suspects Nabbed in Birmingham and London

A 22-year-old man was arrested just after midnight at a Birmingham city centre address. The second suspect, aged 21, was detained in London. Both are being questioned over the killing, which took place just before midnight on the first floor of the club on Adderley Street.

Investigation Gains Momentum

“We’re making good progress and piecing together exactly what happened,” said DCI Ian Ingram from the homicide team. “The public’s response has been fantastic, with witness accounts and images flooding in. It’s crucial that anyone who saw anything, no matter how small, comes forward.”

“Cody’s family and friends are devastated. We’ll keep working tirelessly to bring them justice.”
