A 20-year-old man has tragically died following a fatal stabbing on Bodney Road in Hackney on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 6pm on February 18 after reports of an altercation. Despite the best efforts of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene from stab wounds.
Two Arrested in Connection With the Attack
Metropolitan Police have confirmed the arrests of two men — a 25-year-old and a 23-year-old — on suspicion of murder. Both suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
A crime scene remains in place around Bodney Road, E5, close to Hackney Downs Park, as forensic teams conduct a thorough examination.

She continued, urging the public to assist with the investigation:
“While we have made initial arrests, there is still work to be done to build a bigger picture, and our investigation is still in the early stages. If anyone has any information — particularly dashcam, doorbell, or phone footage from Bodney Road between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm — I would urge them to contact us.”
