Armed police have flooded Colyers Lane and surrounding areas in Slade Green and Erith after widespread reports of a man wielding a machete and an apparent mass disturbance involving up to 100 youths. Social media reports suggest the chaos may have stemmed from an unlicensed music video shoot that quickly spiraled out of control.

While the full nature of the incident is still under investigation, one thread on social media cited that the large gathering stemmed from an “unlicensed music video”, which reportedly spread from Queens Road to nearby fast-food outlets and resulted in individuals brandishing weapons.
