Drug Dealer Darren Taylor Busted with Cash and Weapons in Everton Raid
Police Find More Drugs and Cash at Taylor’s Home
After seizing bags of drugs and a baseball bat from Darren Taylor’s car, police swooped on his Everton home. They uncovered even more drugs and a hefty stash of cash. Officers also found a can of CS spray inside the vehicle.
Taylor Caught Red-Handed in Retford
The 39-year-old was stopped on North Road, Retford, on the morning of 18 October 2019. He later pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, plus possession of offensive weapons.
Jail Time for Dangerous Criminal
Taylor was slammed with a two-and-a-half-year jail sentence at Nottingham Crown Court on 23 November 2022.

Inspector Hayley Crawford, Bassetlaw’s District Commander, said: “Taylor’s conviction and sentencing came from a diligent, complex investigation. The Retford Neighbourhood Policing Team and Response colleagues worked hand in hand to bring him down.
“Criminals like Taylor spread misery and harm within our communities, especially among vulnerable people. We won’t let up our efforts to bring these offenders to justice.”
