Cash, Drugs & Deadly Weapons Seized
Police found drugs wrapped in carrier bags, cling film, and snap bags, along with drug paraphernalia like weighing scales and a burner phone. Nearly £3,000 in cash was also recovered.
In a spare bedroom, officers discovered a loaded shotgun with two cartridges. A Taser was found atop a chest of drawers near the front door.
“Drugs and Violence Go Hand in Hand,” Warns Detective
Detective Constable Leah Brough from Specialist Crime (Trident) said: “The weight of evidence against Sturgeon left him with no choice but to plead guilty.”
“The estimated street value of the seized drugs was nearly £20,000. Messages on the burner phone revealed multiple drug orders from customers.”
“The shotgun and Taser will be destroyed. These weapons underline the ugly link between drugs and violent crime that wrecks communities and lives.”
“We’re committed to bringing offenders to justice. Anyone involved in similar activities should take note – you could be next.”
