14-Year-Old Boy Arrested Over Chertsey Rape Investigation

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a serious rape probe near Chertsey Library, Surrey Police confirmed today.

Serious Allegation Rocks Surrey Town

The arrest follows a report of a sexual offence that allegedly took place on Thursday, 27 June, close to Chertsey Library. Officers have been actively investigating in the area and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Inspector Ian Nash, leading the investigation, said:

“We understand the concern this incident may cause within the local community, and we are committed to providing appropriate updates as the investigation progresses.

“We urge the public to be careful about what they post online regarding this case. It is an active legal matter, and protecting the investigation and future court proceedings is vital.”

The boy remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
