Driver Cleared After Fatal Stabbing and Crash
After reviewing CCTV footage and statements from witnesses and officers, the Metropolitan Police decided the driver acted in self-defence or in defence of another. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, leading the probe, said the man is a crucial witness and will receive professional support to help him cope with the horrific event.
“It is vitally important when a person dies that every angle is investigated,” Rawlinson said. “This has been a priority for my team.”
