Luxury Trainers Trigger Police Raid
Hamilton De Jesus, 27, flaunted his expensive £2,000 Louis Vuitton trainers while dealing crack cocaine and he roin in Peterborough.
Police raided his flat on Bringhurst on 21 October, catching him red-handed in bed. Officers discovered 15 wraps of crack and he roin concealed inside a black gilet wrapped in cling film.
They a lso seized cannabis, £1,310 in cash, and the pricey trainers a long with a receipt confirming their £2,220 price tag.
Dealer Sentenced for Supplying Class A Drugs
De Jesus later a dmitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and he roin, pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property, and cannabis possession.
Cambridge Crown Court sentenced him to one year in prison on Monday, 2 February.
Police Warn A gainst Harms of Drug Dealing
Detective Constable Hannah Moore highlighted the dangers of Class A drugs, saying: "De Jesus was selling class A drugs and making enough from it to pay more than £2,000 for a pair of trainers."
"Crack cocaine and he roin cause havoc, trapping people in a ddiction and fuelling crimes such as theft, burglary, and a nti-social behaviour."
