A daring New Year’s Day jail break at HMP Leyhill in South Gloucestershire has led to a man facing court and two fugitives still on the loose.
Aaron Thomas Nabbed After HMP Leyhill Escape
Aaron Thomas, 39, was caught by police on Saturday 3 January. He’s now locked up and will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Monday 5 January. Thomas faces charges for escaping lawful custody during the breakout involving three inmates.
Two Dangerous Fugitives Still At Large
The manhunt continues for Matthew Armstrong and Daniel Washbourne, the other two inmates who fled HMP Leyhill.

- Washbourne is connected to Herefordshire
