Man Busted for Drink Driving After Dramatic M4 Crash
Aaron Watkins, 31, faces drink driving charges after his car rolled onto its side on the M4 near Royal Wootton Bassett in the early hours of August 13.
Early Morning Crash on M4 Near Junction 16
At around 1.35am, police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash eastbound on the M4 near junction 16 for Royal Wootton Bassett. Watkins, from Port Talbot, lost control, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.
Luckily, no other cars were involved and no serious injuries were reported.
Drink Driving Charge and Court Date Set
Watkins was arrested after blowing over the legal alcohol limit. He has been bailed pending a hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on August 30.
