20-Year-Old Charged with Murder After Brent Stabbing
A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Ali Faris Muhammad in Brent, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.
William Amadi, from Barnet, was formally charged on Friday, 23 May. The stabbing occurred during the early hours of Sunday, 18 May.
Shock Stabbing on Kingsbury Road
At around 3:31am, police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to Kingsbury Road, NW9, after reports of a stabbing. Ali Faris Muhammad was found with a serious stab wound and was rushed to hospital.
Tragically, despite medical efforts, Ali died from his injuries. The Metropolitan Police are supporting his next of kin during this difficult time.
Suspect Arrested and Court Appearance
William Amadi was arrested on Thursday, 22 May, and has been remanded in custody. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 24 May.
The Metropolitan Police are spearheading a murder investigation that remains ongoing.
A Met spokesperson said: “We are continuing our investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward. Our thoughts remain with Ali’s family at this time.”
