Man Hit with New Charge Over Levi Kent’s Tragic Death
Officers probing the tragic death of 22-year-old Levi Kent in Gosport have slapped another charge on a suspect.
Levi Kent Assaulted in Early Morning Attack
Police rushed to Keyes Road, Bridgemary, at 2.32am on Friday, 24 November after Levi was brutally assaulted. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.
Mark Phillips Now Faced with Witness Intimidation Charge
Mark Phillips, 56, from Gilbert Close, Gosport, was already charged last month with perverting the course of justice. Now, he faces a fresh allegation of witness intimidation linked to incidents between 8 and 12 December 2023.
Phillips was remanded in custody and appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on 6 January. He remains in custody ahead of a Portsmouth Crown Court hearing set for 5 February.

- Joanne West, 45, no fixed abode, charged with two counts of assisting an offender.

- Peter West, 42, of Fisgard Road, charged with two counts of assisting an offender.
- Liam Savage, 37, of Trinity Green, charged with two counts of assisting an offender.
