Oxford Man Charged in Shocking Attempted Murder Case

Police have made a breakthrough in the attempted murder probe from March 13 in Manzil Way, Oxford. Shahroz Ali Khan, 24, from Mortimer Road, has been hit with conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering charges.

Khan in Custody, Faces Court Today

Khan was arrested on July 2 and is slated to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today. The charges relate to a violent attack on a man in his 40s, who suffered serious facial injuries but has since been released from hospital.

Another Arrest Links to Same Incident

Earlier, Hassan Hussain, 24, from Nye Bevan Close, was also arrested for his part in the same case. Hussain is remanded in custody awaiting trial. The date for the hearing has yet to be set.
