Old Bailey Set to Host Attempted Murder Trial in September
The Old Bailey has scheduled the trial of two men charged with attempted murder for 14 September, following a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, 8 April.
Suspects Charged Over Prison Officer Attack
Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Macaulay Hockton, 26, were charged on 3 March with attempted murder. Ziamani faces additional charges of actual bodily harm (ABH) and common assault.
Incident Dates and Arrests
- Attack took place on 9 January at HMP Whitemoor.
- Two men arrested on 2 March in connection with the assault on the prison officer.
- Both suspects remanded in custody awaiting trial.
