Three More Arrested in Brutal Levi Kent Murder Case
In a shocking twist to the murder of 22-year-old Levi Kent, three more suspects have been charged. Levi was found seriously assaulted on Keyes Road, Bridgemary, at 2:32 am on November 24. Sadly, he later died from his injuries, sparking a major police investigation.
New Charges Announced
- Peter West, 42, of Fisgard Road, Gosport – charged with two counts of assisting an offender.
- Liam Savage, 37, from Trinity Green, Gosport – also faces two counts of assisting an offender.
- Mark Phillips, 56, Gilbert Close, Gosport – charged with perverting the course of justice by giving a false statement to police.
All three have been remanded in custody, with court appearances scheduled for today at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
Four Others Already Charged
Before this latest move, four more people were charged in connection with Levi’s murder. They are due in Portsmouth Crown Court on January 10, 2024:
- Tommy West, 18, Fisgard Road – charged with murder, robbery, and possession of a bladed article.
- Aiden West, 24, Tudor Close – facing murder, robbery, and possession of a bladed article charges.
- Sarah Flynn, 35, James Close, Gosport – charged with assisting an offender.
- Joanne West, 45, no fixed address – charged with two counts of assisting an offender.
Ongoing Hunt for Justice
Hampshire Constabulary has launched a full-scale investigation, surveying multiple leads to bring those responsible to justice. The Gosport community remains devastated by Levi’s tragic death, with police urging anyone who knows anything to come forward and help crack the case.
