Early on Sunday 14 January 2024, a man told officers patrolling Pier Road that he had been attacked by a stranger. The assailant stole a sum of cash from him.
Robbery and Knife Charges for Neil Dunkley
Neil Dunkley, 48, with no fixed address, was arrested by North Kent CID. He faces serious charges including robbery, carrying a knife in public, and making threats while armed. Dunkley was held and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 16 January.
Upcoming Court Hearing
Both the victim, Mr Powell, and Dunkley were granted conditional bail. They are scheduled to appear at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court on 13 February for a full hearing.
