Two Teens Charged After PCSO Assault in Brent
Attack on Officer in Wembley
Two 14-year-old boys have been charged after a shocking assault on a police community support officer (PCSO) in Brent.
The attack happened around 3:50pm on Monday, 18 October, on Bridge Road, Wembley. The PCSO was on duty when he was assaulted.
Officer Hurt but Not Seriously
Thankfully, the officer escaped serious injury. The Metropolitan Police are providing him with welfare support following the incident.
Teens Arrested and Charged
The two boys were arrested shortly after the attack. They have been charged with assault on an emergency worker and granted bail.
Both are due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 November.
