Gun Drama in Barry: Three Men Arrested After Police Raid

South Wales Police swooped on a Barry home in Maes-Yr-Ysgol at 11:30 a.m. on July 12 following reports of a man armed with a gun.

Three Men Caught Up in Firearm Probe

A 29-year-old from Llandeyrn, Cardiff, was arrested and rushed to hospital for treatment. Two other men, a 28-year-old from Splott and a 33-year-old from Fairwater, were also detained on firearm possession charges. While one was promptly arrested, the other needed hospital care.

Street Locked Down as Police Secure Scene

The police quickly cordoned off the street, urging locals to remain indoors for safety. A specialist firearms officer was sent in and successfully seized a weapon from the property.
