Tragic Death of Young Girl in New Marske Shakes Community
Police were called to a home on Dale Street, New Marske, early Tuesday morning after reports of an injured child.
Grace Thorpe, the young girl at the centre of the incident, was rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Despite emergency treatment, she tragically died on Thursday, November 12th.
Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
Officers launched an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding Grace’s injury. A 26-year-old man was arrested and remains in custody, suspected of murder.
