Shock Crash Near Pollards Hill Roundabout
Sussex Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty collision on the A24 near Pollards Hill roundabout, Southwater. A BMW and a Harley Davidson motorcycle slammed into each other at around 1:30pm on Sunday, April 27.
The impact left a 43-year-old woman—riding as a pillion passenger on the motorcycle—with serious injuries. She was rushed straight to hospital. The Harley rider escaped with minor injuries, while the BMW driver walked away unscathed, police confirmed.
Police Launch Urgent Investigation
The Sussex Roads Policing Unit want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or noticed either vehicle’s movements before the smash. They’re also appealing for dashcam footage that could shed light on what happened.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle being driven prior to the incident. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist our investigation.”
