Detectives are on the case after a daring cash machine break-in attempt at the Ubberley Co-op in Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent. The botched robbery took place in the early hours of Sunday, October 8, with police alerted at 4:31am BST.

Two Men with Crowbar and Explosive Try – and Fail – to Crack ATM

CCTV footage shows two suspects entering the store. One carried a crowbar. They tried to blow open the cash machine using a small explosive device but failed. Frustrated, they made a quick getaway on a motorbike, heading towards Bucknall along Ubberley Road.

Police and Firefighters Respond – Appeal for Witnesses

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to assist. Now, police are urging anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the break-in to step forward. They want to hear from anyone who may help crack the case.
