Car Crashes Into Tree in Brighton on New Year’s Eve
Emergency crews rushed to Stamer Park, Brighton, this evening after a single-vehicle crash. A car reportedly veered off the road, smashed into a tree, and ended up in a nearby field.

The drama unfolded around 8pm as locals prepared to ring in 2024. Firefighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue, paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service, and other emergency teams scrambled to the scene.
The Kent, Sussex, and Surrey Air Ambulance also touched down nearby at Sussex University, ready to assist.
Driver Taken to Hospital, Injuries Unknown
One person, thought to be the driver, was rushed to hospital by land ambulance. Authorities have not disclosed the extent or nature of their injuries.
