Jogger Kicked to Ground in Shocking Whiteley Robbery

Police are hunting a thug who attacked a woman out for a run in Whiteley. Just after 5.45pm on Friday, December 30, the 30-year-old victim was jogging along John Bunyon Close when a masked man pounced, kicking her to the ground and stealing her personal belongings.

Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward

Detective Constable Angela Smith urged anyone who saw the attack to come forward. She said: “The victim was assaulted before the man stole her personal belongings and made off. If you have any information, please get in touch.”

DC Smith added: “I advise people to take precautions when out: try to run with others, tell someone your route and expected time, and stay alert to your surroundings.”
