Police Call Off Hunt for Murder Suspect Leighton Snook
Police have officially ended their search for Leighton Snook, wanted in connection with the murder of 83-year-old Donald Ralphin Aldham.
Tragic Find on Halstead Road
Mr Aldham was discovered dead at his Halstead Road home just after 1pm on Tuesday, 29 December. The shocking discovery has left the local community in mourning.
Four Arrested in Colchester as Probe Heats Up
On Friday, 1 January, a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in Colchester. Alongside him, two men aged 30 and 39 and a 21-year-old woman were also detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All four remain in custody for questioning. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy from Leicester, who was earlier arrested on suspicion of murder, is still being held.
Missing Blue Volvo Found in Hastings
The blue Volvo V50 belonging to Mr Aldham, reported missing from his home, has been recovered in Hastings, helping police piece together crucial parts of the investigation.
